The German carmaker, BMW, has two Sports sedans that will come out for the 2021 Model year, there will be the new BMW M4 2021 Model and 2021 M3 as well. The debut of this new M3 and M4 2021 edition will take place in September this year.
As you may already know, both new BMW M3 and BMW M4 come with a few improvements on its style design and engine system as well. 2021 BMW M3 Style Design
For the 2021 Model Year, The M3 will come out with a new trim that they name it The M3 Competition models. The major difference between The M3 Competition models and the regular BMW M3 new edition is its exterior style where The Competition models look like the sport version of regular M3, other than that no major difference at all. Both M3 Competition models and the 2021 Regular M3 model use the same engine options.
Interior & Infotainment Features
On the inside the 2021 BMW M3 style design look like a like BMW 3 Series interior. The 2021 M3 and its Competition model has a 10.25-inch touchscreen that is also controlled via a rotary knob and buttons on the center console. Along with gesture and voice controls, the system should include multiple charging ports and an optional wireless device-charging pad. The bigger change that the company offers is The M3 owner no longer requires a paid subscription for Apple CarPlay, but for some reason, it still hasn’t adopted Android Auto.
The 2021 M3 has more carbon-fiber and faux-suede accents for a racier aesthetic. It also has more supportive front seats and comfortable accommodations for people traveling in the rear. Interior cubby storage is highlighted by a tray at the front and a bin at the back of the center console. The souped-up sedan also will benefit from a capacious trunk that held six carry-on suitcases on the 3-series we tested.

Engine & Performance
For the engine, Both 2021 BMW M3 and its The Competition models powered by 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged inline-6 code. This engine delivers 473 horsepower in the regular M3 and M4 and 503 hp in Competition grade. The Competition models will also have up to 479 pound-feet of torque.
The regular 2021 BMW M3 and M4 will come exclusively with a 6-speed manual while the M3 Competition and M4 Competition will come exclusively with an 8-speed automatic. Rear-wheel drive will be standard on both but all-wheel drive will be made available on the Competition models at a later date.
BMW provides longer complimentary scheduled maintenance than those alternatives, however, it’s still shorter than what Jaguar provides. For this 2021 M3, Warranty and Maintenance Coverage are:
- The limited warranty covers 4 years or 50,000 miles
- Powertrain warranty covers 4 years or 50,000 miles
- Complimentary scheduled maintenance is covered for 3 years or 36,000 miles
Price & Availability
The Price for regular 2021 BMW M3 is $68,000 while the M3 competition model will be higher than that. Both 2021 M3 and M3 Competition models will be available to purchase for the European and North Amerika market in September this year. For the rest of the globe, the car will be available in mid-2021.
